This last weekend found me and three of my best girls out raising Kane in Jackson Hole, WY. We had a blast going whitewater rafting down the Snake River, horseback riding, shopping and just enjoying the absolute beauty of the Tetons.
I'm trying to convince Nate that we should move there. I'll open a cake decorating store that specializes in moose and rafting cakes. It will be awesome (I have yet to convince him but I know once he visits he'll be hooked).
A few hilarious conversations that we enjoyed:
"We should go to Mt. Everest, that's in Alaska right?"
"I want a pair of moose panties. And a moose bra, I want a matching moose bra."
"I don't know, I'm not actively sexual."
"No horse, now is not the time to run."
Here are a few pictures of our fun trip:
This was right after our chuckwagon dinner. Life was very good at that moment.
Logan and I enjoying our water. Yum, yum!
Right to Left: Haley and Dragon, Vonda and Rizzo, Megan and FirTree, Logan and Clyde.
I wish we had gotten a picture of our cute little wrangler, Miles. He had the girls hearts a flutterin'.
Our last picture together. I couldn't hardly move after our 2 hour trail ride. I truly walked like a cowboy, it would have been kind of cool if it didn't hurt so bad.
You can't see my shorts and you should say a prayer of gratitude for that blessing. Vonda let me borrow a pair of her shorts since I forgot mine. The problem with that is her butt is two sizes smaller than mine which resulted in a perma-wedge, that was neat.
That's enough for today. More pictures to follow!

you are so darling. i am going to take those pictures and photoshop myself in so i can imagine that i got to go do something cool with the girls.
I miss riding horses. The last time I did it I was in high school and went with some friends to ride on the beach. They asked "are you comfortable with horses" and I said, "well, it's been about 3 years, but yeah I think I am" (We owned several horses on our land growing up and I would ride them almost every day) And then they proceeded to ignore me and give me the "old gray mare" who was one trot away from keeling over and dying. I was persistently a half a mile back from everyone else in the group. Pissed me off.
More from your trip, please!!
looks like a fun, fun trip! Wish I could have gone with you. I am hankering for a trip. I keep telling Bob that I want to go on an adventure trip but we have no money or vacation days from work.
We are going to the temple in Palmyra for a sealing Aug.14th. That isn't really an adventure for just the two of us. It is a branch activity.
Maybe you, Hill, Aramie, Jess, and I could plan a trip for next spring or summer?
