Christmas Quiz: Prize for the highest score!

Hello my blogging BFF's. This Christmas season I'd like to share a Christmas quiz that I took (not going to tell you my score...) and to see how good your Christmas knowledge is.
This quiz is going to be two parts. The first part is about the birth of Christ. The one rule is you can't go get your bible (ps: there are a few trick questions), you have to do it from memory...and you will be damned if you cheat on a Christmas quiz!
The second part of the quiz will be fun stuff (Santa, Christmas songs...that sort of thing). Answer the questions in the comment section or you can email me at hb3_15@hotmail.com. The person with the highest score will be getting a homemade Christmas gift from me. Quiz will end Monday the 15th at 8:00 am. GOOD LUCK!!!

Part 1:
1. How many wise men were there?
2. What did Mary ride into Bethlehem on?
3. Was Joseph alive when the wise men came to see the Christ child?
4. In what structure was Christ born?
5. What was the name of the angel that came to Mary?
6. Who should have been king of Judaea at the time of Christs birth?
7. How long after Joseph and Mary arrived in Bethlehem was Jesus born?
8. Who witnessed the circumcision of Christ (besides his parents)?
9. How much older was John the Baptist that Christ (who were cousins)?
10. When was the real season of Christ's birth, and how do we know what season it was (this one is a little tricky, sorry)?

Part 2:
From the movie "A Christmas Story"
1. After the leg lamp was broken, what song did Ralphie say he heard being played late at night?
2. While Ralphie was daydreaming about saving his family from Black Bart, how many bad guys did he shoot and "kill"?

3. Name 4 alternate names for Santa Claus.
4. What famous Christmas song is not really about the birth of Christ? It's really about His second coming.
5. Name all of Santa's reindeer.
6. What does the candy cane represent (I know of three things)
7. Name all 12 of the gifts that "my true love gave to me."
8. Which song is considered Americas most famous Christmas song?
9. In "Twas the Night before Christmas" what were the children dreaming of?
10. Essay: What is your favorite Christmas memory?

I tried to answer them, and kept getting stumped. You said I wasn't allowed to cheat, and I just want to know if you'll give me the answers, let me study them and get back to you in a week. That's not cheating. It's high school chemistry at it's finest. ;-)

Judd Rules. I only disagree with her on a few items:
Part 1:
8: The guy who did actually DID the circumcision had to have been there. I think it was a rabbi. HAHA
9. John the Baptist was only a few months older then Jesus. We know this because in the scriptures JTB does a little "jump for joy" in Elizabeth's womb when she sees Mary and that's how Elizabeth knows that her virgin cousin is pregnant with the Christ child.

10. Judd is correct on this one. But I would like to add to this. In Jesus the Christ, Talmage goes on and on about all the signs from the bible telling us that it wasn't in December but in April. Like a full chapter about the whole thing. And then at the very end, he says, "And we know from revelation that it was specifically on April 6th". WTF? Why couldn't you have said that a chapter ago?

Part 2:
I have a question for you. what is the brand of Soap that Ralphie has to suck on?

4.Is the Song "I heard the bells on Christmas Day?" The one that talks about the second coming?

7. Judd only forgot 9 Ladies Dancing. So it's 12 Drummers Drumming, 11 pipers piping, 10 Lords a Leapin' then 9 ladies dancing. I think

8. I think Silent Night is the most famous song. That just my a-hole opinion

And My favorite Christmas memory is one year when we got some Rollerblades. We went out and played street hockey in front of my house on Christmas morning. I was probably 13. It was a good day. (I'm from California, remember? We don't do snow) Oh, and the Chinese food we always eat Christmas Eve. It's a gluttonous feast!!

Thanks for this. And thanks Judd for giving me half the answers. That's what you get for blogging first!! Some Bozo will steal all hour hard work. And you're reading that that bozo's writing, RIGHT NOW!!

I remember now that we really don't know how many wise men there were but because they brought the 3 gifts, gold, frankincense and myrth we just assume there were 3 could have been 2 or 20 of them!

outsh=verification word.

Ali, in answer to your question: Lifeboy, it has a nice pecan afterdinner taste.
I too was a connoisseur of soap. My mom used the liquid soap and then would take a washclothe and smear the soap all around my mouth.

I never got my mouth washed out with soap. But probably because I never really knew any bad words growing up. I grew up on 2.5 acres in the middle of AZ. Cattle and cotton country. Abandoned. No such thing as cable

I remember one time I was watching a move at my friend's house and in the movie (it was Adventures in Babysitting, if you were wondering) Elizabeth Shue says. "Don't F*&K with the baby sitter." I thought the line was funny, so I repeated it. And the mom of my friend was like "Alicia, we don't say those words".

I had NO IDEA what I had said!! I didn't know it was a bad word! And if it was, why the hell was she letting a 7-8 year old watch it?

Anyway, I plan on using chili peppers to discipline my kids. And Tabasco. Awesome! I'll let you know how that goes.
